Well what can we say about the weather, as little as possible perhaps!

There are a few events which you will know about, and a few new dates to put in your diaries.

The Bass night held in June was a success, not much caught, but the breakfast that was served in the morning made up for it.

Volunteers for manning the Lifeboat House in Clacton are required, for a few hours a week, if retired and you fancy a change of scene, this could be for you.

The club has bought a new dumper, please treat it with TLC as there has been time and effort put into getting it ready to go, new signs are there for your safety and preservation of the vehicle please observe them.

29th July Live Band and BBQ- 7.30pm . Don’t forget. There will be an eight piece band performing At the club in the evening, playing all types of music, everyone is welcome feel free to bring along family and friends.

Birdman of Clacton- Please see attached flyer. Your support will be greatly appreciated, as I am sure you will agree the RNLI do an outstanding job.

Laying Up Supper/Buffet- The club is set to organize a Night of Live Music (this has yet to be confirmed) and a cold buffet on the 9th of September. Prices for tickets and times will be placed on the notice board in the club house nearer the time.

AGM 10th September- Enclosed with this letter is a guide, or job descriptions if you like for committee members. Hopefully you will find this informative and may dispel any fears of going for a position. Committee meetings are usually held on a Sunday morning every 5-6 weeks.
