The fishing season is here again, with some good catches already in! Details of competition dates and times are enclosed.

Steve Buer and John Rasburn (new compound officer), have asked that trailers be named clearly please, as this will make sure your exit from the water is easier for all concerned. There will be a kit supplied by the club for this purpose, please speak to some one for details.

If you would like to keep your boat in the compound please speak to John and he will find you a spot, which he has asked you to keep tidy!

Social Events

Laying Up Super- This has been cancelled.

Firework Night 6^th November- This is being laid on by the club this year, with no entrance fee but donations towards the fireworks will be gratefully received. All the fun starts at 7.00pm , with a BBQ and raffle being held though the evening, and for those who cant stand still, there will be a disco to round of the night.

Christmas Dinner and Prize Giving 18^th December- Traditional Christmas dinner and all the trimmings! Served up to you, on this night. The evening starts with a drink at the bar at 7.00pm for a dinner at 7.300pm. The dinner is a three course dinner, coffee and cheese & biscuits follows. Followed by presentation of trophies, for those who have excelled this year. There will be a visit form Father Christmas, and a Happy Hour form 10.00pm – 11.00pm . If you have children under 12 years and you would like Father Christmas to give them a present on the night, could you please provide this to the value of £5.00, wrap it, and clearly label it with your child’s name. You will find the menu and relevant details enclosed, closing date for this event is 30^th November, and hurry there are limited seats. Replies and payment can be handed in at the bar or sent in.
